It’s great to be back at City Oval after a couple of weeks on the road and some mixed results. 6-23 is a bit of a lopsided record v the Power. Today is a glaring example of why it is so important for us to win at home. With A Grade knocking on the door and the 1’s sitting 5th, now is the time to make our home our fortress.

Well done to our footyers and netballers who are taking part in the AllStars carnival next weekend. In it’s first season, it’s a great initiative by the League and well supported by senior coaches. Well earned recognition for all the younger talent in GL.
It was 1 each for our Juniors in their first home game of the season last Sunday V Lakes. In really tough conditions, our 13’s didn’t get across the line with Campbell Moncrieff kicking 3 whilst the 15’s had a great win. We head to Lindenow tomorrow and the Cats are always a tough proposition. U11’s start at 10:30am and they’d love to see you there.
Our Youth Girls head back to Warragul to take on Phillip Island in rnd 3. The girls are keen to get back out on the field following a forfeit by last week’s opponent.
