Rnd 15 Footy Record 2022

It’s great to be back at the City Oval after what can only be described as a day of mixed fortunes last week at Moe. Highlights of the day were – a thrilling draw in the Cs highlighted by Lauren Bills’ 300th game, strong wins by our 13s, 15s and 17s, Alison Dwyer’s 50th A Grade game, running goal by Lucas Lakay, not 1, not 2 but 3 bounces from Dan Eastman to setup a goal, 5 goals each to Logan Austin and Brayden McCarrey plus an interesting display of affection by our water carrier.

After the game today come join us in the Social Rooms for a games night with an Op Shop theme – see you there!!!

Lauren Bills 300 games is a massive milestone. Lauren began playing with us in 1997. Lauren has seen many changes over the past 25 years at BFNC and her longevity is a testament to her commitment and loyalty. Congratulations Lauren on such an awesome achievement.

Saturday is another milestone for a dedicated Redleg senior. Congratulations to Josh Wykes who will be lining up for his 50th senior game and 98 as a dedicated Redleg player.
