2022…. It’s Our Time. (Why Wait?)

Isn’t it sensational to be back at the City Oval for footy, netball & great company. Opportunity knocks for all today. Who’s going to rush to the door?

Congratulations to our Youth Girls players Gabby Foster & Lydia Gudgin who represented Gippsland Power in U17 NAB Girls League over the summer. Gabby has also been a regular inclusion in the u19 team and their season is continuing. U18 player Cooper Vickery has also been selected in the Power squad for this years NAB League season.

Former Redleg Megan Fitzsimon is having a consistent AFLW season with Melbourne and will take on the Lions today in a preliminary final at the MCG. Well done Megan.

The Club Committee has had a BIG “off” season. Among other things, governance, management, fundraising, recruiting, maintaining & growing relationships mean that BFNC never closes. Your Committee is committed to ensure the Club continues to be sustainable, enjoyable, and successful and are reviewing the Club's strategy. This review is being formally facilitated by a company that is dedicated to assisting sports clubs with aligned immediate and longer-term planning. More to come…..

Among many new faces at the Club is our senior footy coach Logan Austin. A first up home game is a great opportunity to welcome Logan, his partner Iona and parents John & Robyn to the Redlegs.
