Great wins last week to our 13’s, 17’s & 18’s. Conditions improved last week as the day went on and our junior teams (especially our youngest 13’s, 15’s & 16’s) copped the worst of it. A great mindset was displayed by each of these teams.
Thanks to our home away from home the North Pier Hotel in Cowes for looking after us last weekend. If you missed them, there’s some great photos on facebook for you to check out. The North Pier Hotel is the ideal spot to base yourself for your next visit to Phillip Island.
Congratulations to Anna Mooney who played game #1 in A Grade last week at Wonthaggi. She looked right at home at the top level. More games will help grow her confidence and cause opposition teams real headaches.
TONIGHT we’re heading to the Grand Terminus Hotel to have dinner & drinks. They’re one of our Major partners and we really appreciate their support. Make sure you get along. The Grand Terminus is stunning when it comes to quality. The meals are some of the best – roasts, parmas, salads, chicken, pies, steaks and seafood always impress The drinks list is always attractive with many drinks on tap. It’s always a great night out with friends at the Term.

A big thank you to our runners, goal umpires, time keepers, scorers, supervisors, team managers and all our match day volunteers. Depending on the weather, some days can be tougher than others and your support makes playing footy & netball possible. Thank you.
Our Junior Redlegs teamed up with the East Gippsland Umpires on Wednesday night to provide a great night of footy for our U15’s v Lakes. The Umps ran a full panel for the game and the canteen. The kids really enjoyed big time footy under lights. All Stars games have been playing havoc with the draw and availability this season and innovative solutions are required. Well done to all involved in collaborating for a great outcome for junior footy.
